Verónica Oliveira (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal)
Verónica Nobre de Oliveira graduated in Geography and Regional Planning in 1999 and obtained her PhD in 2010 in Marketing and International Business from the University of Extremadura (Spain). She is associate professor and Coordinator of the Events Management graduate programme in the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (ESTM) at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL), in Portugal.
She is member of the editorial boards of the European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation, and over the past years, she was member of Centre for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation (CITUR). Her main areas of research are related to marketing, consumer behaviour, eco-certification and sustainability. Currently, she is professor of several subjects related with environment, tourism and sustainable development.
João Emanuel Costa (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal)
João Costa, is lecturer in the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (ESTM) of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. He has a PhD in Multimedia Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He teaches in the first and second cycles subjects about informatics science (Geographic Information System, digital imaging and online marketing).
He is member of CITUR (Centre for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation) and collaborates in projects of research and development in Tourism and Maritime Biology field, using external financing. Integrates the scientific committee of the International Congress of Tourism, is member of the European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation and cooperates in projects to provide external services.
