The conference was held at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology, from the Polytechnic
Institute of Leiria where, over the course of the three days, more than 100 presentations, from 26
different countries, took the opportunity to actively participate and inspire each other, as well as
exchange new ideas and state of the art knowledge in the field of tourism.
The inspirational contribution of this year’s edition to the international debate on tourism issues made us extremely proud and rose to the expectations for future meetings. We strongly believe thatt he continuing debate and the networking among researchers will ultimately contribute to the development of integrated and innovative projects that will lead to a more harmonized and efficient tourism development around the world.
